RAS AL KHAIMAH – Al Hamra Group has appointed AHK Worldwide as the main interior fit-out contractor for the Waldorf Astoria Residences Ras Al Khaimah, marking another significant milestone for one of the emirate's most high-profile luxury residential developments.

The appointment moves the $225 million project a step closer to delivery as construction progresses towards its planned completion in the first half of 2028.

It also follows a series of record-breaking sales that have drawn international attention to the development.

Record sales

The announcement comes after the project recorded the highest-value single residential transaction in Ras Al Khaimah's history with the sale of the Sky Palace for $35.4 million. That achievement was followed by the sale of the development's signature penthouse for $15 million.

The two landmark transactions have reinforced growing international demand for branded ultra-luxury homes in the emirate while strengthening Al Hamra's expansion into Ras Al Khaimah's premium residential property market.

Fit-out phase

Under the agreement, AHK Worldwide will oversee the complete interior fit-out of the Waldorf Astoria Residences Ras Al Khaimah. The company will be responsible for delivering the project's interior finishes, craftsmanship and detailing in line with the standards associated with the Waldorf Astoria brand.

The appointment represents a key stage in the delivery of the development, with Al Hamra continuing its strategy of working with globally recognised specialists to ensure the residences meet international benchmarks for luxury design and execution.

Benoy J. Kurien, Group Chief Executive Officer of Al Hamra, said the project has been designed to provide an exceptional residential experience through high-quality construction, thoughtful design and meticulous attention to detail. He said every element has been planned with residents in mind, balancing comfort, convenience, elegance and long-term functionality, adding that AHK Worldwide's experience makes it the right partner to help realise that vision.

Luxury vision

Fadi Abla, Chief Executive Officer of AHK Worldwide, said the company was honoured to be selected for the landmark project.

Drawing on more than three decades of specialist hospitality expertise across the MENA region, he said the company will deliver interiors defined by precision, craftsmanship and timeless elegance that reflect the prestige of both the Al Hamra and Waldorf Astoria brands.
